If your procedure requires an overnight stay, you will be settled in a private room after your surgery, with an en-suite bathroom, a telephone and television. A clock is available on request. Free wi-fi is available - please ask a nurse or the receptionist to give you a password. A call bell is provided should you require attention between the times of your nurses visits.
Meals can be ordered from the menu, and can be tailored to meet your dietary requirements.
When you get homeWe strongly advise you have a capable adult with you for the first 24 hours following discharge from hospital. It's important that you rest during this time so it's helpful to have additional support.It's normal to feel some degree of pain or discomfort after an operation - your surgeon and nurses will explain what is to be expected based on your procedure.
