Well, the year has flown by and we have seen many patients at Grace Hospital this year. Each year we treat around 7000 patients, and on the whole, we get amazing feedback about our service. A big thank you to all who have responded to our survey, your feedback is really helpful for us in looking for ways to improve our service.
We hope that all of our patients have a happy and healthy holiday period, and please take care. We close the hospital each year for refurbishments of various departments and this year we are closing on the 24th December at midday. We re-open for surgery on Tuesday 12th January. If you are having surgery that week, our team will contact you prior to closing to ensure arrangements are all in order. We will however, be taking phone calls regarding surgery this week on the 7th and 8th of January from 10am-12 noon, so if you have any issues, please give us a call during that time.
If you have any equipment to return, please hold on to it until after we re-open, as we don’t want it left lying around outside while we’re closed.
If you have any concerns after your surgery while the hospital is closed, please initially contact your surgeon, and if unable to reach him/her, please see your GP or present at the public hospital A&E department. Our apologies if it is difficult to obtain assistance during this period.
Thanks again for being part of our year and we hope that we can be of service to you again if you require further treatment in the future.
Kind regards
Janet Keys
